SYNOPSIS

A conceptual approach to being a woman in three stages of life. Gina is the eldest daughter of a family headed by women, most of whom have migrated, died, or divorced. She works as a nurse, assisting in births at the maternity clinic in La Libertad, the town where she was born. She lives amidst family traditions and memories, alongside other women in her family and her grandson. She has requested a consular appointment to process her visa and reunite with her daughter after six years.

His eldest daughter, Gabriela, has inherited his rebellious spirit. At 21, she emigrated to Palestine, where she worked for three years with a family that has businesses in that country and in Honduras. She then returned to Honduras for a few months, stayed with Gina, and then emigrated illegally to the United States. She lives in Savannah, one of the main slave landing sites in past centuries.

Gina cared for Sofía, Gabriela's oldest daughter, until she was 11, when she left for the United States. Now that Sofía is 15, she's going through the transition from girl to womanhood. These three women, united by blood and by being the oldest children, hope to reunite, physically and emotionally.
